“And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus.  He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High.  And the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.”   Luke 1:31-33

The Gift of Salvation

This is the time of year where we celebrate the birth of Jesus. My prayer is that we would not only celebrate the birth of Christ but that we would praise and humbly thank God for His Mercy and Grace by sending His son to become the payment for our sins.  We were and still are a people that are in desperate need of a Savior, someone to save us from our broken and depraved condition.  Christ came for a purpose, to give us a gift, and that gift is far greater than the gifts that were presented to him by the Magi. “The real idea of Christmas is that our Great God has given the gift of spiritual salvation to empty, broken, sad, and sinful people.” – Dave Crandall (Christ Community Church – Covnignton, GA)

Praise God for His Mercy and Grace!

Merry Christmas!
