When Ross and I visited Bogotá in May of 2012, we were given the opportunity to serve with the “Jungle” one of the days we were there. The Jungle is an outreach/sanctuary for kids that live in a really rough part of town. These kids are surrounded by violence, crime, drugs, prostitution and more on a daily basis and the Jungle is a place of refuge from all of that. If only for a few hours on a Saturday, these kids can just be kids in a safe environment where they not only get to play but they receive love and care from others as well as a chance to hear the Gospel.

In the most recent edition of the MTW magazine, Network, Nate Bonham shares a little more about his visit to the Jungle. Click to read the article.
